Stampin with Janice… February 2011
Here are the projects we made at Janice's:
Purple Flower – we used the new flower punch / stamp set and the new glimmer brads. ONE punch will punch the leaves, the center pieces and the flower petals. Having the coordinating punch/stamp set (pg 12 in the new mini) sure make stampin easy!!! Imagine how many color variations you could make AND how quick! : )
Elegant Rose – Does this project look like faux silk? That's the name of this technique. Janice saw this technique in our monthly demonstrator magazine. Her project is even better than the one shown in the magazine. As a demonstrator, we receive this publication including important SU news, upcoming promotions, inspiring articles, a new technique or two and many photos of great projects! We used an embossing folder to texture the background paper and the Top Note die to frame the flower. We stamped/colored like usual and then used stick glue to attach crumpled up tissue paper over the top of the stamped image… very pretty!
Butterfly/Sympathy card – Don't 'cha just love the color combo? The designer paper (pg 15) is found in the new Occasions mini catalog along with the stamp set (Thanks for Caring, pg 13).
Thanks Janice!
Happy Stampin!
