As promised, we'll be making a candle! Many of you saw the candle set Janice made and requested we try this technique. You can use any stamp that will fit on your candle. I even used glitter… imagine brads too… Imagine the fun you'll have when working with a large candle! (oh… and coordinating card, and coordinating cello bag with gift tag…)
Here's a Christmas card we'll make using SU's new fabric. Does the fabric look familiar? SU has come out with a few signature product lines in this mini catalog: Candy Cane Christmas (the playful product line) and Deck the Halls (a vintage product line) including fabric, buttons, designer series paper and stamp sets! We will be using quite a few products from the new mini catalog:the snowflake embossing folder, Stamp Set Tags Till Christmas, seam binding – it's my new most favorite ribbon option, glass glitter and big buttons.
AND, Scotties… aren't they darling? This project started in Riding Hood Red only. You know me and options! I wanted the Scottie dogs to be Christmasy so went with wasabi (my son pointed to this color over all the other greens available!). The blue one… well, I just like blue. We haven't heat embossed in a long time and Janie (Friday nite stampers) mentioned how she loves heat embossing (me too!) so I wanted to make sure to include it in at least one project.
I'm looking forward to seeing you this month!
Happy Stampin!
