July Projects (Hippest Hippo and Garden Birdhouses)

Summer certainly has arrived!  I LOVE the mornings in the summer… doors and windows open, the first cup of coffee and the birds singing.  It is so nice.  Here are our projects :

Both projects are fun folds… but not too hard.  

Garden Birdhouses Diagonal Cut Card:

Diagonal cut cards are unique and fun.  This card is easy to reproduce and doesn't waste loads of paper like many fancy fold/diagonal cut card do. 

This stamp set was in last year's catalog and carried over in May to the annual catalog.  I was so relieved because I hadn't used it once!  I really like it and think it is a sweet set.  After using it here, I LOVE it!  

The DSP is FREE DSP!  It is Sale-a-Bration season!  We all love FREE!  

Do you love the new In-Colors as much as I do?  The minute I saw them I knew Starry Sky would be my fav.  BUT these four shown above (orchid, sorbet, Tahitian and parakeet) completely make this card.  They are so bright and happy.  

This fun fold has a Belly Band.  Since the DSP is a bit busy, I needed to keep the focal less busy.  The inside is fun and unique AND allows plenty of room to stamp and write a nice message.  I tend to get carried away stampin tree branches and bird houses and then realize I need to color all that cuteness.  

Hippest Hippo Happiness Card:

Yup!!!  soooo cute!  The stamp set is FREE, the dies are FREE, the DSP is FREE!  Just that makes this card happy!

Looking at the stamp set you can see it is cute.  Looking at all the fun and extra dies this becomes a definite YES!

I colored lips on her… with a fine point sharpie.
