Whooowee! I can not WAIT for you to see/make these cards!
Here are a few photos of the Plentiful Plants Easel Card:
Plentiful Plants product suite is sooo much fun. The bundle (set/dies) is great! The DSP is really nice too. Guess what? The dies cut the images on the DSP on 2 of the 6 DSP designs! There is one sheet that has coordinating plants/pots that you can fussy cut. Love those too!
This is an easel card. It will lay flat for mailing and perfectly fit in to a standard envelope. It opens to make a prop up easel card. Use the pots (on dimensional) to prop up the top part of the card. Hint: pots/dimensionals lower on the card is ok, but if you place the pots/dimensionals mid point, the easel is more upright.
Notice that pattern on the crumbcake card front? First cut the shape with stitched rectangle dies, then run the frame thru your Machine using the die Stitched Greenery. How perfect is that? I really like the look. I also used the macramé embossing folder (not pictured) which is perfect for this project.
The frame below uses the Brick and Mortar embossing folder for a bit of texture.
Here are photos of the Art in Bloom project.
Choices are good! You can choose what color flowers, what ribbon, what words, color with Blends or stamp, flower center… lotsa choices.
BUT, what is awesome about this project is cutting out the flowers AND texturing is done at one time! Huh … you might say… Answer: the flower trio die fits into the embossing folder! WHAAAT? My first thought was I'll ruin my embossing folder. This is a hybrid folder and it works! I don't think this will work with regular folders – don't try that. (oh, I just saw the upcoming mini catalog and there is another Hybrid folder/die combo offered!!!)
Those yellow flowers inside the card, masking is the key.
The Bay/Pool Party flower below is colored using Blends.
