Batik Flower Trio Card
Alcohol and Stampin Blends Background Project
On line everyone is trying the Alcohol/Stampin Blends technique. Yup, I'm a fast follower! I ordered some isopropyl alcohol (from Uncle Jeff… aka Amazon) with high alcohol content – 91%. I understand the higher the percent the better your results. I didn't try the 70% stuff I have in the bathroom cabinet. Here it is! Ummmmm, yeah!
The process is fun and no two attempts are the same. The first card you see how the vellum will warp. I'd suggest using a bit of liquid glue to attach the dried vellum to a piece of white card stock. The first card I used only glue dots attempting to attach the beautiful background.
I LOVE this flower. Those leaves are equally delightful.
