June Technique Projects

So… what do you think about the new catalog?  Was this Product Suite one of your favorites?  Did you notice that pages 4-11 are the Bundle Index?  I find myself referencing these pages regularly when going to find a particular stamp set or paper in the catalog.  I really like how the DSP (designer series paper) is displayed so we can really see what both sides look like.  I love love the product coordination!  Also, did you notice how the Bundle Index shows one card sample and once you turn to the product suite pages you see additional samples?  Have you ever taken a minute to make your own card just as it's shown in the catalog?  Somehow the cards are so much nicer in hand vs the photo.  I encourage you to try.  If ever you do, I'd love to post here your project.

Good Morning Magnolia Card:

I made this card for Momma and Carol for their birthdays.  It was well received.  So much a few of you commented we NEED to make that card in class.  Here it is!

Daisy Lane and Daisy Delight Card:

At April On Stage, all attendees were given a challenge: Sell 3 Daisy Lane stamp sets and receive a predetermined stamp set from the upcoming Holiday catalog.  Since I seem to buy every single item from every single publication getting something for free would be a grand idea!  … right?  Since I like the stamp set Daisy Lane I could try this challenge.  The stamp set is available in a bundle (stamp set and medium daisy punch).  We all like bundles! See pages 23 and 96. If you buy a Daisy Lane Bundle, I will give you a package of Perennial Essence Floral Centers and 5 card kits to make at home (or in class).  I'll make sure and order plenty in early June.
