June 101 Projects
Happy NEW CATALOG MONTH!
I must admit, I love June for many reasons… but when the new catalog goes into effect we get our hands on plenty of new stuff! Yes, we pout and think SU is crazy to let go of so many favorites (paper, DSP, ribbon, SETS, products…) while we can imagine using them for years! After being a demo and finding myself in shock (mouth gasping open… ugly…) each May, I've learned something – I CAN hoard it if I really like it. Funny thing, I find I don't use it again. Another thing, SU seems to come out with something different that inspires me even more – really. When SU makes decisions/changes, I've learned to take a deep breath and try to think it will be ok. If you are still pouting and shaking your head, imagine a leap back in time to the catalog 30 years ago (or maybe 10 years ago)… yup… ya with me?

Sweet, Simple, Versatile In-Color Card:
These are some of the new In Colors. They are pretty, huh? I wanted a nice but easy/simple card for Stampin 101 this month. The last cards we did might have been a bit more challenging than they should have. It's nice to throw in an easy card here and there.
What do you think of this new DSP? It's called Perennial Essence. It's hand painted. It's beautiful. A busy card consuming too much space would not be good. The paper is so pretty it deserves to be featured on this card.
A few of the samples have pearls or rhinestones splashed across them for a bit of interest.
Free As a Bird Card
At On Stage this past April we made the first card as our Make n Take. Well, I added just a bit more… All of the samples are very sweet. Notice the Stitched Nested Label dies? The are really nice. You've probably noticed I keep using my Stitched Rectangle dies – I think these are my next set of dies to overuse!
Notice the pretty lace and embellishments?
Yes, we will be coloring with the Blends again. I think they are my favorite coloring method lately.
I look forward to seeing you next week.
Happy Stampin,
