So Many Shells Card
I've been wanting to make this card for over a year… it's finally time.
I've been joking that I keep using the stamp set High Tide. I figure everyone will assume its a Must Have stamp set or everyone will just think I'm stuck in a rut… lol…
I have a funny story about the High Tide set. I kept finding just one more reason to borrow Mommas set… just one more project (thank you Momma for all your constant support)… After multiple uses, I figured I should get my own set (even though I probably wouldn't use it again). Ummmm, I think I've used it 4 months in a row. Sheeze… who knew? Ok, can you imagine this card without the water and flying birds? …oh, and you are well practiced on how to get a great, solid black stamp too… huh?
The stamp set So Many Shells is a lovely underestimated set. The words are perfect. The stamped shells are 2-step stampin. The line up easily. I stamped off to get the multi color shells, but I'm sure using multiple colored ink will make beautiful realistic shells.
Sponging has become a theme lately. It's a beautiful soft way to accent the project.
Whacha think?
I wish I could take credit for Stampin Ups design team… but I just ran paper thru the Big Shot and BANG the card is already a WOW card.
I must admit I'm not one to send out Halloween cards but I have plenty of friend that consider this their fav holiday.
Did I'd you know SU has glossy paper?
Are you impressed how smooth my background sponging looks? …shhh, it's that glossy paper being magic! I know we have been sponging often lately and working on a professional smooth look… but glossy paper makes every attempt a success.
I hope to see you this month.
Happy Stampin,
