Janice’s New Catalog Swap
Janice invited her down-line to participate in a new catalog swap. As demonstrators, we are able to order a handful of pre-selected items one month in advance of the new catalog effective date. Our June projects will use these new products. 4 of us agreed to participate in the swap – here are pictures of the cards.
Each of us were to make 2 designs using one stamp set from the pre-order.
Leslie's: Sprinkles of Life (This is the Ronald McDonald set… it's darling! The best Ronald McDonald set in years. It's very versatile. See page 189 in the catalog. Each set sold, SU donates $3 to Ronald McDonald House!!)
There is a coordinating punch! Imagine how nice NOT to have to cut!!
Janice's: Build a Birthday
Do you like the sequin trim? You can use it as ribbon or like bling, as sequins…
Janice used the new punch tag topper.
Washi tape!!! … need I say more? (… it's my new BFF!)
Katrina's: Friendly Wishes
Check out Kat's using markers to color the stamp on both projects… nice!
Washi tape is much easier than ribbon. She used the tag topper punch too. Oh, that watermelon ribbon is so easy to work with… great accent.
Mine: Stamp Set You've Got This
My last Sacto visit, Laurie H gave me the cutest card… it made me say WOW. I used new catalog products on her design/layout. Here it is. Ready??? See what's inside?
The designer paper is Boho. SU comes out with new designer paper every year and this year they came out with solid colored paper packages that coordinate with the designer paper. You still get 24 sheets in the pack, but it's just 3 colors.
Here's the card opened. Thank you Laurie H!
See the texture? It's a new embossing folder that coordinates with the boho dsp.
I used shimmery white paper to water color the flower. Sponged the background tip top taupe to make the flower pop. See the tiny pearls in the center of the flower?
washi! (CG, not BEETS!)
Thanks for coordinating this swap Janice!
I'll bring these cards to the monthly groups this month so you can see the stamp sets in action.
Happy Stampin,
