Birthday Cup Cakes… oh, so yummy!

Janice surprised me on my birthday with cupcakes (and a few goodies) during Friday night stampers last month. The cupcakes were incredibly beautiful… they were so perfect and PINK! As I walked by a few times, the sweet aroma was seductive… After dinner, we decided to have one. WOW! They were the best cupcakes (or cake) I've ever had in my life! Really! She had enough for me to bring a few home… the family felt the same way!

So, my DH asked me what kind of cake I wanted for my b-day the following weekend. Guess what my answer was??? Yep! I want those! He found the bakery in Folsom and picked up a few (okay, more than a few) of them… all different flavors.

When family came over to celebrate my special day, they asked 'where's the cake'. Tony proudly pulled out 3 boxes of these things (gulp, they are about $3 each!). We set them on the counter, put one candle in my favorite and sang away. If this were you, how would you decide which one you wanted? Can't! We cut them into quarters. We enjoyed a feast… all the flavors were exceptional. I think the family has a new favorite cake too! : )
