Nature Walk… my February swap card…

Here is the card I made for my February swap.  I used the Nature Walk stamp set (in the new Occasions mini catalog, pg 27) and the coordinating designer paper (page 26).  I wanted to make a panel card to feature many of the stamps in this set…  without all the layers, the card was boring. When I added the marina layer under the stamped image, the project was nice!

The bees have glitter on their wings – yep, ready to fly…  The eggs are colored using an aqua painter and then a layer of crystal effects.  It's interesting watercoloring with brown or chocolate… the light version of this color comes out kinda pink-ish.  My final touch was a bit on linen thread.  I tied a knot about the flower panel.  This little added embellishment seems to balance out the project.
