My friend Fonda Jo wanted ideas for her Christmas Card using the stamp set Special Season and dsp Winter Frost from the mini catalog.
This group uses burlap:
This group uses foil:
I also couldn't wait to use the blingy embellishments Frosted
Finishes and the metalic paper... okay, and the burlap
ribbon.
Here is what I came up with for her.
Yummy, huh?
Remember 'find Waldo'? Here are a few products/techniques you can try to identify on these samples:
-heat n stick powder with dazzling diamonds glitter
-using an espresso maker to color over stamped green for branches and trunk
-double bow (seems I can get enough of them lately)
-linen thread pinching together ribbon
-sponging (one of my absolute fav techinques)
-paper piercing (um... don't really like lots of poking, but like the result)
-blue glue/glitter on tree (not really a technique... but... just a difference between cards)
-rhinestones on tree (again, not a technique... don'cha just luv SU's rhinestones?)
-red/crumb card, on the crumb paper see the versa/heat n stick/glitter trees behind words?
Supplies: Set-Special Season; Paper-white, dsp winter frost, island, pool, cabana, foil sheets (mini catalog), cherry, crumb; Ink-basic gray, artichoke or garden, brown sugar, versa, cherry; Accessories-framelits oval, framelits edge, snowflakes ef, stylish stripes ef, marker espresso and chocolate, rhinestones, sponges, pool seam, frosted finishes, dimensionals, heat and stick, heat tool, bling, oval accents die, pokie, mat, template, cherry seam, burlap ribbon, linen thread
