Have you made a shaker card before? They are fun to make and definitely WOW the recipient! The stamp set Jar of Flowers is perfect for this card. I love how each season is represented by a different flower bouquet. Here are a few pictures. Let me know what you think and which is your favorite.
Here is the Spring and Summer Design:

The shaker domes are fun! Even if you don't have the domes, making a card with a bow around the fresh cut stems is just as nice! See above.
This is a GHI (gotta have it) bundle. If you love it as much as I do and want the bundle, I would love to get you a package of card kits. You can make each of these designs. Let me know by Friday, September 30th if you would like this GHI bundle.
Some stamp sets/bundles are just beautiful. The first time I saw this set I noticed the art in the images. Here are a few photos of the five card designs:

Because of stampers orders, I get to continue trying to inspire you with more projects. I sooo appreciate and enjoy sharing our hobby. Here is my Thank You card for August orders.
Here is another simple card. It is nice to make many with different greetings just to have on hand.
This stamp set has been around for a bit. Abstract art is beautiful, but because it doesn't have crisp lines and a definite/structured image... I am challenged by it.
Funny story... we had a Sara, home designer help out with decorating right after we finished the remodel of the inside of our house. She is delightful. She was full of ideas and did a wonderful job (lol, things haven't changed or moved since she did her magic!). After each visit Sara would give us homework such as find 3 photos to display on the fireplace mantel, on the side table by the front door and in the hallway. Each visit it was a easy simple task. THEN she said go online and find a piece of abstract art for above the fireplace. I took on the task like all the others. Ummmmm.... I failed. She finished her job and suggested what frame to use for this piece of abstract art. 6 months later, and many true tries, still nothing. I did find something because the empty frame looked silly. It cost way too much. After being there for over a year, it still didn't settle well with me and I replaced it with a big white (gray hues) rose painting. It is somewhat close to abstract. ANYHOW, I like abstract but I personally struggle with it. SO, long story short... here is an abstract stamp set. I LOVED the DSP last year. I still love this set. This is the first time I have used this set. Yes, I love it. Do you?
Do you have a drawer or box of cards, separated by sticky notes, set aside for when an occasion comes along? I do. I have birthday, thinking of you (which works for soooo many different needs), sympathy, manly birthday, kid birthday, etc. This card can is very versatile and can help replenish your drawer. Just change the front greeting and you are set.
Another reason to love this card... it is easy! Here are a few photos:
What a lovely stamp set name! Do you a have a pampered companion? Might this be a scene at your house?
Copied from Karen Ksenzakovic Did you know that as a hostess (any order over $150) you have access to discounted items. Example: the stamp set value is $22, as a hostess you pay only $13! This is a hostess set and it is adorable.
Having a spoiled dog, regularly washing his blankets, tucking him in, giving him a pillow... that he uses, and finding comfort when he is all snuggly on the couch, I soooo relate to this stamp set. Coloring the chairs in bright, bold colors I probably would never ever have in my house, that made this project even more fun. In my dreams I have a bright blue velvet high backed Victorian Chair, or a florescent green print chair! I hope you enjoy this project and make a few of your own.

Can you believe it is September and nearing fall? Oh how I like the long warm days. I do like the fall colors and snuggly feel that comes along with it. Here are two projects that keep that summer vibe going and another project to feel the fall feels.
Splendid Thoughts is a beautiful Product Suite. We will use the stamp set/dies AND the coordinating DSP. I must say the DSP is very bright, shiny, beautiful and I want to buy more than I need. I finally decided it needs to be used in small quantities. Well, for my taste ... just a bit will do it. I love and copied the card Lisa Curio made. It is lovely. Here are a few photos:
Hello Harvest Pumpkins Card:
This next fall project is another product suite in the mini catalog. We will use the stamp set/dies and the DSP. This DSP is beautiful. There are a few black and white patterned sheets that are so nice. We will use one of them... the leaves. With just a hint of color on the leaves, the DSP springs to lift. Oh... that Split Textured die set. At first glance in the Annual Catalog (in May) I didn't understand how fun these dies could be. One of my stampers ordered it right away. BUT, now I get it!!! The dies completely 'make' these cards. Now I can imagine using them with any stamp set. I love how the DSP peeks thru from the back. Oh, the pumpkins - Do you want to stamp, color, die cut? ... or die cut from colored paper and sponge ... or go for the leaves only and skip the pumpkins. Ya... happy you get to choose - I choose a few of each!
I hope to see you at class next week.
