Annual Catalog and Retiring List Coming soon!
Coming Soon!!! April we will have the retiring list AND early May the new catalog goes LIVE. Contact me if you need a new catalog (free to anyone that orders regularly).
I have had this bundle for about a year now. I've used the stamps... the flowers and the words, but the dies made me nervous. Sure, the dies to cut out the flowers and leaves - those are just fine. The dies to make the 3D flower, ummmm... well, I dunt know bout dat!
BUT I finally tried it and it is easy - really! Here are the tutorials and all the details you might want to know.
Coastal Cabana Card:
Simply Elegant Card:
A hint of Color Card:
Petal Pink 3D Card:
As you can see, I figured out the dies. Really, they are easy to work with. It would be even easier if I didn't take a few minutes to sponge the flower and leaves for a bit of dimension.
The new catalog is almost here. This is on the Retiring List! Pout!!! Get it quick as supplies are available while they last.

This bundle has been gracing my work area for a few months. The minute I saw it in the catalog I knew this would be at the top of my list. Once I found the coordinating DSP I knew I would have some fun with it sooner that later. With the holiday mini catalog and SAB, I became side tracked. Finally, it is time for In Symmetry! This is a bundle (stamp set and punch). Here are my four designs (2 them copied or closely copied from Pinterest). Oh, I used every sheet of the DSP too!
So, which design is your favorite? I like them all for different reasons. This blue flower is the last one I made. I love the look of the flower, especially from a distance. To me, the flower seems to glow in it's blueness (ya, I made that up, but you know what I mean). It is an easy fun fold. I copied a similar card from Pinterest, Pink Buckaroo Designs.
In the video you will see me struggle with adding the denim bow. I really like it. I like it better than the jade gingham bow. Just a different look... but both are good.
Oh, the polished dots. Those are my new favorite. It is funny how one package of little plastic bubbles makes me so happy.
The inside of the first card - disappointment... The card pictured above - much love...
That blue flower is stamped in balmy blue, stamped off, daubed with navy - stamp. Clean the stamp. They inked in flirty flamingo, stamped off, daubed center with calypso coral - stamp. Cut the two layers and assemble.
That navy heart as the flower center is the icing on the cake!!!
This is the flirty/bee flower card. The planned to have both cards pink/navy. As I went to apply adhesive to the back side of the DSP on the video I had an inclination to use the back side of the two pieces of DSP. I love them both. I copied this card from Stamp with June.com
Those little gems are From The Heart gems. A dot of glue (or glue dot) and stick them on. The package includes iridescent red, pink and white gems.
This is another easy fun fold.
Okay, maybe I have a favorite - Pink Flowers
I LOVE this die. It is more like a plate. That adorable stitched greenery background works perfectly for this delicate card.
Oh, the vellum leaves - I almost forgot to use the punch (the bundle is the stamp set and the punch). The opal rounds perfectly accent this card.
This is the first design. Sometimes it is nice to make an easier card. The only thing that might be new is the multicolored flowers. The video will show you exactly how to do this. It isn't hard, just something a little different.
Ya, on the video I had too much fun making the Thanks So Much tag. It was a good idea a the time, but when attaching it to the card, I found it to be a bit busy. I still like it though.
Well, guess who had fun with this bundle? Yup, me and I hope YOU too. Below is a link to get the bundle.
I want 95% of every new catalog from SU. That cost LOTS! I always say I will plan. I will order only what I will use. I plan a few sets per month and I can get only those. Well...., well.... I have been trying the past few years and have been getting better, BUT then there is a bundle that makes it rounds and I don't have it (gasp)! Samples that I love. Still, I try to not give in. BUT, when someone (Jacque, not to mention names) comes to me and says 'what are all these dies for, why are there so many' and I haven't a clue AND she sends it home with me... Can you already predict what happens? They she says 'you can play around with the bundle while you have it if you like'...
Well, here is what happened:
Keep in mind, this is not my stamp set!
... not yet...
This is absolutely beautiful.
AND you can make the birds in any colors.
Here is the second design.
These swallows are stamped and cut with the dies. The first design birds were made using the dies only.
That branch and the flowers... they melt my heart with happy.
Um, ya... It is an awesome bundle. Below I will list paper cut sizes for both projects and list all the products used with links to my store.
I cased the blended circle card from For the love of Stamping.
Scroll thru these photos and let me know if you Gotta Have It. Would you like a card kit for each of these designs for free? With the purchase of the bundle (between now and 3/15) that is exactly what will happen. Here is the link to my online store:
Card #1 - Bumble Bee and Brushed Brass Butterflies (say that fast!)
I can't get enough of this adorable tulip/hill border! We will use it on the Easter Friends class project too.
I love how the black words/flower centers shine against the white/bee card. I copied this card from Little Pink Daisy.
Whoooowee!!! Talk about elegant!
The soft pale papaya with the rich evening evergreen is stunning. I LOVE this card.
That center panel with papaya on both sides, the right side tucks under the flower circle to create a latch to keep it closed.
Oh, oh... notice the mother of pearl paper? That is my new favorite!
Card #3 - Poppy Parade Bouquet
Wow, what a change of pace. From elegant to bright and laughing! Here we will use the tulip dies.
A hint of sponging on the flower and leaves make the completed tulips have definition.
I copied this card from Loritamarie Crafts.
Card #4 - Stand Up Fun Fold
Don't tell anyone... that small but flower, I learned on the last project I have been making the flower upside down. Whoops... shhhh...
How fun is this card? It stands up with the box bottom. The soft succulent satin ribbon is perfect for this card. Yes, maybe the double bow makes the card too thick in combination with the 3D tulips, but I like it! This card certainly makes a statement.
Do you notice I used the Mother of Pearl paper again? It is so pretty.
This tulip DSP is one of my favorites. I think it is happy.
We will stamp the leaves in evergreen, on evergreen paper, then die cut them.
Card #5 - Pastel Tulips Fun Fold
So simple of a card... just white with colored tulips. The video says otherwise. It is not hard, it just takes a few minutes to sponge the color onto the tulips.
More brushed brass butterflies please! Jo Blackman inspired this card.

Bumble Bee and Brushed Brass Butterflies Card #1 Product List
Each month I participate in a card swap. I mail Carolynn a bag full of cards (one design) and a week or so later, she mails back a bag full of different cards. Here is my March swap card.
I had fun coloring these different colors. I love them all!
Spring!!!??? Is it here yet? I certainly am ready! I really like both projects and have a feeling you will too!
Here are this month's projects:
What? No coloring? Funny how that works out. Both project involve NO coloring. I saw the Flowering Rain Boots card on Pinterest (thank you Bree Renwick).
Here are a few photos of the Easter Friends Project:
For the sky and soft green of the grass, we will use blending brushes. Hey, this is a time when sloppy blending brushing is exactly what we want.
The words included in the Easter friends stamp set are so crisp and delicate. I love the font too.
Flowering Rain Boots Card:
When I first saw this bundle in the mini catalog I thought it was cute. I thought I should get it because I have a few friends that are true gardeners. While waiting for March, thinking this is a spring time bundle, I had sooo many ideas of what to make. The time is finally here and I love how these turned out.
The photo above shows my old favorite and my new favorite... specialty metallic brushed paper and BBB (brushed brass butterflies - try saying that fast). The stamp set is lovely. Look at those images, they are so fresh and bright while still being realistic.
The greeting heat embossed with white powder keeps this project fresh. I LOVE both projects and can't wait for you to make them. See you soon.
