It's Simple Card:
Being card makers, we should have a card stash ready for every occasion, right? Do you? Sometimes it is nice to make a handful of cards that are not specific to any occasion. You can stamp a variety of sentiments, attach them to the front of the card and wha la, you are ready. This card is perfect.
sparkly crystal effects is the bling on the flower centers.
I'm embarrassed to say, the camera's vision is better than my vision. When I see these flowers in person, they look perfect. Um, the camera shows EVERYTHING!
You can use ribbon, burlap, anything as a background.
We can squeeze Christmas in there too!
Clever Cats Fun Fold Card:
Look at those Clever Cat faces! OMG, so cute! The kitty peeking out of the pumpkin is mischievous looking!
So, kitty in the box is hysterical. It reminds me of this silly picture I have of Beau. I'll attach it :
The boy is 6 months old here. He did move up to a big boy bed, but this bed outside on the porch was so much fun. He would grab it and run! In order to get comfy in this bed he would go around in circles SOOO many times and then plop. He didn't know I was watching. He thought he fit just fine... lol!
Carolynn and Laurie generously stopped by a few weeks ago for a nice visit. You know we had to spend some time stampin... okay, LOTS of time for stampin. They attend Cathy's stampin class regularly and share the projects with me (thank you!). Carolynn was finishing up her projects and I loved each and every one of them... especially this project.
Their project had a cute penguin on the front, from Penguin Place. Since my penguin is in a different Project Box, I thought this is a great opportunity to use the FREE SAB (sale-a-bration) paper for the focal. The DSP's images are perfectly sized and perfectly colored! YAY! This fold is unique and easy.
Hello!!! Here are this week's projects. Some times I like the projects or make projects because someone commented they like the set/bundle, or because everyone on line is all excited about a particular bundle... but these project are caz I like them! I really like them. The Quiet Meadow Watercolor card is SOOO much fun to make. Coloring the flowers/leaves is almost addictive. The Sheep card, well, flying sheep and interactive cards... yup, much fun!
Merry Snowflakes is a new bundle (suite) I'm the upcoming mini holiday catalog. I always love new and the catalog certainly delivers. In general I like the color pink. I don't know that it particularly belongs with snowflakes... perhaps I'm a bit more traditional. Don't get me wrong, I like unique color combinations - but pink snowflakes? Well, after enjoying the DSP in this product suite, I'm loving iridescent pink snowflakes. The designer paper will direct my upcoming projects in a few new directions when it comes to card colors. What do you think?
Here are a few photos of the cards.
That ribbon is so perfect for this project... the bling, that is new... OH those snowflakes, new... ah that DSP, it sparkles so irridescent and shimmery, new! The entire card is fun
I know, you are mesmerized by the sparkly gold paper under the snowflake... that is a SAB FREE item! Yeah!
The opal round gems work perfectly with this card.
Notice the merry everything rectangle die cut paper? I did my fancy little trick there Ya, I kinda like it! This is a Project Box. I'm not sure how many stampers can handle the pink and/or Christmas in July. Normally, I'd say nah... but I really, really like this. Let me know if you are interested in the Project Box.

Lately I've been feeling a bit tropical. I LOVE LOVE summer. The warm weather and dreams of a tropical vacation have me thinking about tropical flowers and the beach. Here's a card that captures this summer vibe.
The sweet blue hue behind the flowers uses those lovely Blending Brushes!
Here are the boxes available. Many of them are almost empty. Let me know if you are interested on one (or two) of them and I'll check the supply level.
