November Projects – A Child is Born and Birdy

October 28, 2025

Class at noon:
Saturday, November 8th – Lowell Firehouse Community Room
Sunday, November 9th – Cottage Grove

A Child is Born stamp set is classic Christmas! I want a beautiful card, but not too hard to recreate. Making this for my Christmas cards this year is possible! One thing about this stamp set made me hesitate… there are no facial features on their faces. I want just subtle, non descriptive features. Therefore I drew them. I think that is the only challenging/hard part of this card. I love how the card looks. What do you think?

Nests of Winter Birdy Card
Do you …um, collect DSP? I do. I really do! I save favorite pieces because they are beautiful or I can imagine using THAT print in so many projects and I like it. I saved this paper, two sheets, because the green stripes are perfect for nature/flower cards or a splash of color for holiday cards. I pulled it out to use it and flipped it over. Imagine my delight finding these adorable birds and greenery! That’s all we need for a card… and it’s so sweet! What do you think?
