Fields in Bloom

Have you ever walked by bright vibrant poppies? I always wish I could pick them and bring them inside… but don’t. I let them thrive in nature. A few months ago Tony announced that those weeds up on the rock wall are poppies and he is going to weed eat around them. The next day I saw these poppy weeds he was referring to… ok…. Oh my!! One bunch started blooming and is incredible! The next bunch was ready to put on a show too!
In the yellow flowers video I show a few pictures of all these flowers. Each bunch is a slightly different color and so delicate. Did you know that the flowers close up each evening? With the morning sun, they reopen! This the multicolored video I make colorful flowers using sponge daubers. While working on this project I thought up another way to make vibrant flowers…. Watch the second video to the end. The experiment was fun and successful! Well… all that said, the stamp set Fields in Bloom is perfect to try and capture this beautiful summer day.
