Calming Camellia Project Box
This stamp set is sooo lovely! Here are four very different designs using this one stamp set.
The first design is trying something new, Watercolor Wash. Here are a few photos:
The paper is Soft Succulent, you use versa and embossing powder to stamp the image. Next use craft ink and a water painter to apply white to the flowers.
The photo below has a hint of fresh freesia ink applied using a sponge dauber to the center of the flowers.
The black embossing powder card is stunning and very dramatic…. but a bit dark. I tried different color embossing powders and find I like the black best.
These ornate frames dies are lovely. Do you notice how well they fit together?
This card goes together so quick. Just stamp the image, stamp the sentiment and assemble. The stamp is absolutely beautiful.
I caught onto using that swoosh stamp. Ya, it kinda went on every project from this point on.
The leaf stamp is very beautiful too. I know the flower is the show stopper stamp in this set, but the words and the leaf stamp are very, very nice too.
LeeAnn Greff made this card. This is an almost exact copy of her work. I really like this design too.
Well, I tried many different designs and finally followed my heart and came up with a design to color. YES, it is so pretty.
So I did a "no-no" in fashion/color etiquette… I used white with vanilla! I have don't this "no-no" a few times before and always am happy. The flower above (flirty and saffron/white flower) is colored on white paper and the rest of the card is on vanilla. My thought is that the white of the flower will look almost illuminated. The card below is 100% vanilla paper. Comparing these two cards, the differences are minor and I'm not sure it is worth the angst of using white/vanilla. You know, us girls just have to play and go outside the box every once and awhile.
Those are the FOUR designs in this one box. Ya for us! Let me know if you want this Project Box.
