Late October Class Projects

 

 

Have you collected a few reinkers?  Do you know you can have LOTS of fun with reinkers?  (Carol reminded me about the Shaving Cream fun we have had… stay tuned… soon.) The beautiful multi colored leaves are made with one baby wipe and a few reinkers.  You can use any colors you have.  Here are a few pictures:

 

Encircled in Warmth

This project was inspired from a class Laurie and Carolynn attend with Cathy.  They are kind enough to show me their projects and … yup, I gobble them up!  I ask if I can borrow them (they always kindly say yes… and I ask Cathy if I can copy them… she generously says yes!). SO, we are in luck with unique folds and great ideas.  This is one of Cathy's card (Inking it up with Cathy.com) designs.  Also, in the annual catalog is a bundle called Encircled in Friendship.  I love the fancy dies that look like lace or a doily. I've bought doilies in the past and hey, now I can make my own.  I love how the words perfectly fit into the center of the dies.  The die cut pieces are great layered too.  I've had this bundle sitting on my desk for a few months just waiting for a chance to make it into a project box.  When the holiday catalog came out and I found the stamp set Encircled in Warmth – ya, it is TIME to use these awesome products.  

 

The pink flowers are trying to be poinsettias!  What do you think?  This card is slightly holiday like.  

These mini ornaments…  Guess what?  There's a die to punch these out!  I realized that as I packed up the box.  SO – the card about could be much better if I would have used the die.
