Wait until you see this week's projects!
The first project focuses on two stamp sets and this Thoughtful Flowers Die set. This set is recently available and intended to coordinate with the Sending Thoughts SAB (free) stamp set. Included in this die set are two group dies that will cut out 8 different sized flowers. Imagine attaching colored flowers to any project. For the cards we are making here, we will skip the colored flowers and use the white circle with flowers/stems as a background for these adorable critters and/or Little Lady Bugs.
The colored background is sponging on a piece of white paper and placing it below the die cut circle/flowers paper. Do you notice how the sponged paper is just a hint larger? The color makes a nice mat to set off the white paper.
To make the animals we will "2-step stamp". The first stamp is the darker color for the animal outline/fur detail. The second stamp is sand to fill in the body of the animal. We will use the same 2-step stampin for the balloons too.
Here are the LadyBugs. I know everyone is going crazy for them… which they should, they are beyond cute. Dies for this stamp set are available in the Coordination offering (like the circle/flowers die). These are cute – BUT – they require coloring.
Check out the adorable little lady bug butt… perfect stamp for the back of the cards.
Timeless Tulip Cards:
This stamp set and punch are a BUNDLE! We all love bundles. The punch will help us with the large tulip and one leaf. All other cut out images are fussy cut. Ruby and Nikki, I'll help you cut!
I saw this layout on Pinterest and expanded the design to more colors and flower arrangements. I used the FREE SAB tulip Designer Paper. Funny thing is – all the papers match all the colored tulips I cut out. SO, there are far to many choices and no bad choices. They are all perfectly coordinated no matter what you choose.
Happy Stampin,
