Happy January! This month's projects are so refreshing. I luv the holidays and all… but changing from rich/deep colors to bright/bold colors is very refreshing… just as the new year should be! The two new catalogs (Occasions and SAB) offer more than I can imagine inspiration.
Do you have any new year goals? Usually I don't have resolutions because if there's a need for change, I think I should get right to it rather than wait for a particular day such as 1/1. BUT, I do have a new goal/challenge and did say January 1st is a good starting point. I'd like to join the modern era and create an on line presence. The only problem is I am naive and haven't a clue. I've asked Stampin Up for help and they have given me a few baby steps … which I appreciate. SO, when you see me trying new ideas on line, I'd love any gentle feedback. (Also, if you know any techy person that can hold my hand and make me tech smart, I'd love contacts.)
Here's our first project… Valentines Day Card:
Both cards have the same layout, just different papers. One manly, one girly.
Notice the epoxy clear hearts?
Beautiful Butterflies Card:
Most projects I design (or CASE from Pinterest) I really like. This project is one that I share with you because I'm proud of it. I can't wait to see what you come up with.
The wood elements are FREE thru Sale a Bration! The stitched rectangle framelits is a new set in the Occasions Catalog. The set is big and can cut almost any card size rectangle including the adorable stitching along the edge! This is a must have item in the new catalog.
Are you impressed with the butterfly coloring? Well, well… it's DSP (designer series paper) you can get for FREE in the SAB catalog! This package of paper is awesome! It's stunning! AND many of the images (probably 95%) can be punched using the new butterfly punch!
These butterflies I stamped using Momento ink and colored with the Blends.
I hope to see you this month! Happy New Year to you and yours.
Happy Stampin,
