Girlfriends Weekend Treats – 1 of 2

 Girlfriends Weekend is always wonderful.  These treats appear at our stampin spot … they are each so special!

How is this for cute?  Laurie made these.

… ok, so are you smiling just looking at this?  I certainly am… 

… snowman (woman) decided to take a selfie from above… things don't always go as planned… 

Kathy (KH… yes, asian script) gave us these cute treats.

I use my flashlight when trying to find a certain package of dsp under my desk, when searching in my punch cabinet, while looking thru my boxes of scraps (uggg, scraps) for one small piece of navy paper, etc….

Imagine our gasp when we saw this box at our spot.  I thought it was just a magical work or art from Janice but we each received our own!  OMG!  WOW.  JRR, you have been busy and are super generous with this gift!  

Those flowers and embellishments are gorgeous!!!

So Janice has decided to devote her crafting to 'vintage' items.  She started a new blog:

This is my contribution to our gifting.  This is a little decorated bucket.  It's perfect for small crafting garbage.  I keep one on my desk next to my basic supplies.  I rotate it with each holiday or season.  

Many of the items used on the buckets are vintage.  Janice sent me goodies for different holidays over the years.  I've hoarded them like a squirrel.  Finally I decided this would be a good time to use them as I know these buckets will be used and they will not come near a garbage can.  This bucket even includes a bracelet left over from a kids birthday party (party favors) from a decade ago.  I bunched it up and used it as an embellishment.  Since the gems match the flowers and theme, it works!

Momma's Treat:

Before you squint your eyes trying to figure out why the ghosts are sideways and what is in that tub…  Socks, yep, laying on their side and little 1/4 inch punched dots of all SU's colors.

the punched dots… yup, one glue dot and smoosh it onto the top of your reinker (or ranker Anne).  Once you think about this or do this you will have an enlightening moment.  I say to myself 'why didn't I think of this'?  This makes life soooo much easier.

So, if you notice a pink theme going on…  I don't make it a secret I like PINK!  It is a lovely color…  Most of the treats were make in various colors.  Gotta love Girlfriends!
