March Projects
Happy Spring!
It's starting to get a bit warmer, the trees are starting to bud and flower, daffodils are in full glory… it's SPRING!! It's also Easter late March. This month's projects cover both topics. Both projects are so much nicer in person vs pictures. There are super easy cards and some more challenging versions, you choose what you want to do.

Collage Flowers
I had so much fun making these cards. When making them, I kept thinking about you making them and imagine you'll have just as much fun as I had. Once you get started and making slight variations… creativity and ideas run crazy!!!
The 1st light pink flower card is rated medium… only because you'll need to hand cut the flowers. The 2-step stamping is fun and impressive.
The 2nd wild flower card is rated easy… no cutting, stampin, sponging and glitter.
The Forever card is considered easy… no cutting!! We will use the Sale-a-Bration stamp set What I Love for 2-step stamping.
The Birthday card is also easy… the ribbon rouching is a nice touch.
These 2 cards are water colored. The first card has raised flowers (hand cut), ribbon rouching and shadowing with slate gray.
Special Fold Panel Spring Card
We will use versa mark ink and black embossing powder for these cards. Coloring with aqua painters and blender pens makes us artsy. When you look at these projects, imagine how the raised line image embossed and shinny will look… so crisp and clean…
Did you know SU made framelits to fit the Christmas Wreath image? Did you know last fall they came out with a holly wreath that perfectly fit those same framelits? Did you know this stamp set, Circle of Spring, is in the current big catalog AND those same framelits perfectly fit this stamp? I know you just think I can cut really really good, huh? No, the framelits do all the work in one pass! I enjoyed coloring in the flowers and spring green leaves.
Ummm, my fav!!!
This darling little lamb is Momma's stamp. I didn't want to get it because I figured I'd use it one time and be done with it. I borrowed hers. It is darling? Wait until you see it in person. Those little dots are the perfect touch inside… the dots are similar to the lambs wooly coat. The corner stamp is a nice coordinating fit too. Little lamb has Wink of Stella all over, just glimmering bright…
(apologies for the thumb… I wanted you to see how the inside dots coordinate perfectly)
Notice that cute little ruffled edge on the lamb? Did you know SU has a special attachment for the portable paper cutter? There's a special alternate arm/guide with fancy cutting blades (and standard cutting blade). I'll show you this month… it's very very cool!
This wisteria and wasabi card has a bit more detail. I stamped with versa mark ink on the wasabi card base and corners. I also stamped the flower on the printed typeset DSP. Cutting the flowers really make them pop.
The cross card is EASY! Emboss the cross – stamp the inside, layer, done! You can eat cake and drink more coffee while other dive into the projects… lol…
What do you think? Wanna play stamps this month??? I hope so!! : )
