Sacto Invitation – Do you want to play stamps Friday or Sunday?
Remember our marathon stampin days? I do and always smile remembering the fun. Do you want to stamp Friday evening and/or Sunday afternoon? Bonus… Momma will be attending both days!
Make 10 cards – you choose which ones and how many
Round Table Hazel
Friday 5p, August 7th – JN, RG, MB, DF, LH, DB, PL, GH, CK, FJ
Sunday 12p, August 9th – JN, RG, JRR, MA, CC, ADB, LH
Here are the projects:
Magic Window
From boring to 'that's sooo cool… how did you do that?'
The blue flower is very artsy fartsy… kinda proud of the reckless coloring here.
The classic car is for Grampi. It is colored to match his car. He has a birthday in August.
Pink! (said with a high pitched pink and squeak at the end) Flowers, happy card. Hey, check out that grass! You can use the fringe scissors. I've had them for some time waiting for the right project.
Ah, Kitty… I would have colored him black but he would have been a blob as I would have colored over the line art. Maybe he ate the grass… or maybe he really doesn't like birthdays…
Kitty is funny! I know a handful of friends that feel that way about birthdays. I've always liked this stamp set. There are a few other awesome stamps in this set that would work perfectly here such as the bowl of cherries (pits of life… lol…).
Lotsa Layers
This card is quite elegant. I almost want to say simple. It isn't difficult at all to make, just very classic and nice. Sometimes its nice to sit down and make a stack of cards so you have cards on hand for those unexpected life events. This is the perfect lay out. This card is very satisfying (can I say that?).
Modern fall… I'm feelin it! Hey, no cutting!!! Framelits do the work…
Combining colors can be challenging if you don't have a color wheel (you can search Pinterest-Color Combos for inspiration). For these cards I 100% used help and established color combos. I rely on help for colors in 90% of the projects I make. I wanted fall colors, but wanted the combo to be fresh and modern. NOT chocolate, cajun and vanilla 'ish.
Ummm… the pink flowers… I so love pink…
… another attractive color combo that I would not have done on my own.
Butterfly
This card is so pretty in person. The butterfly framelits and coordinating stamp sets have endless possibilities. If you can imagine your favorite color combo (or the card recipients favorite combo) it can be made.
Awesomely Artistic
Janice made this card as her 'new catalog swap' card. I LOVE it! If you enjoy coloring, choose this card. I happily spent hours and hours coloring in the flowers/leaves. Ahhh, something about coloring… almost like kindergarten…
Once you add bling – oh my…
The version above is a bit collage/vintage.
I will have envelopes and inside light paper liners for your 10 cards.
Cost $25
Arrive and leave any time you'd like. Bring a friend…. great to teach that neighbor that always hinted she'd like to try stampin. You are welcome to attend both days if you don't finish in one day. The cards are not that difficult, especially if you do them assembly line.
Bring your basics including snips and adhesive (incl tear tape if you have it).
I hope to see you.
Happy Stampin,
As stampers RSVP, I'll update this post with initials.
If you already know which projects and which colors you'd like, I can bag your supplies.
For all you Card-a-holics – Left Overs will be available Sunday afternoon @ $1 ea paper only
