Happy Birthday Cards

April 19, 2015

When people celebrate their birthday there are different things they want or hope for…  I really, really like the cards (more than gifts).  Here are a few cards friends took time to make (smiles).

This card is from Jennifer.  She beautifully put together a gift basket filled with special items.  The card poetically details each item one by one.  She is a master at gathering gift basket items and then putting the basket together.  It looks almost like a bouquet of flowers it was so pretty.  I love the crisp, classic look to her card…  the bling behind the heart is awesome!

This card arrived in the mail from Mary!  You all know I love this stamp set.  Mary knows I'm fond of pink.  Mary, this is so pretty.  Thank you for remembering my b-day.

This card is from Kathy.  What a great lay out and use of the doily!  She even lined her envelope (I didn't get a picture of it).

This card was made by Nancy.  WOW, how pretty!  I like blue about as much as I like pink.  This is so well made and pretty.

This card is from Gerry.  Momma gathered friends and we all went to tea at Indulge.  We did indulge.  I heard Gerry might make it and she DID!  I sat right next to her.  I was so pleases she came.  I love this stamp set and those mini brads that look like buttons.  The linen thread tied around the flowers is a great touch.  Very nice!

Trinity is my Lowell stampin buddy.  Her fav color is teal.  What a great card.  Notice how she lined her envelope too?  I think I'm starting to love teal too…

Janice does Graphic 45!  Who ahhh…  WOW!

Do you see those black rhinestones.

She even decorated the inside of the card.  She has champagne shimmer over many of the flowers on the inside and the outside.  What a WOW!

Now that you've seen these cards, do you know why I say I like cards better than gifts (and really don't like the aging part of birthdays!).  They are all so special.

Thank you my friends for making my day special.

Happy Stampin,
