Blendabilities and playing stamps with Trinity
I have the pleasure of introducing Trinity (and Peter, Em's honey) to SU's Blendabilities.
Trinity was coming over to talk Stampin Up and I wanted to spend a bit of time with her. She mentioned she hadn't played with Blendabilities and I thought this would be a perfect way to spend an afternoon. LOL, don't we all get lost in coloring?
I have a million (okay, gazillion) card kits sitting around. I used a Christmas Card Kit (see pix) as the base and turned the card into an 'any occasion' card and a Christmas Card using all the materials.
This is the original Card Kit picture:
Here are a few pictures of the finished cards using other stamp sets that perfectly fit the white paper for the image:
This Christmas set 'Visions of Santa' felt … uncomfortable… when I first saw it at Convention in July. I just asked 'why'? … why mess up Santa??? After I saw Santa colored he was tolerable… Once I looked at Santa's face – he is VERY happy – I decided it was okay. So that set haunted me and I kept thinking about it… not bad… I purchased it. Now I LUV it! He is happy, very happy… Check out how I have him dancing and flinging snow… This set is a great match for blendabilities too. Do you like how I colored the moose? (lol… Trinity and Pete know I was mistaking that moose for Rudolph – wondering why he doesn't have a bright red nose…)
Let me know if you'd like to know more about SU's Blendabilities. I've somewhat perfected achieving a smooth blend.
Happy Stampin,
