This month's projects are SOOOO much fun!!! I've been saving up good ideas for quite a few months and here they are!
As I was creating the samples for this project… I liked each sample more than the last. Some of the sample are going for the 'less is more' look, or 'lotsa layers/texture', or burlap/so simple and sweet… I guess I like it afterall!
Last year SU introduced their swing card framelits. The framelit set comes with lotsa pieces (the large framelit for the card base – check out the two styles/shapes – AND lots of coordinating framelits that perfectly fit inside the swinging part of the card). It is an awesome deal.
Swing Card:
You probably have seen this stamp set everywhere. SU hosted a catalog premier event to unveil the new catalog. Every demonstrator that attended this event received a free stamp set from the new catalog. Here is is "A Work of Art". They gave us a wood set. I usually purchase only clear sets – for cost and storage reasons. It's a nice change to work with a wood set – so sturdy! I've heard so many comments about this set like 'what is that set, I love it' or ''is that set in the new catalog, it's so versitile'.
DSP Folded Frame:
I have made this card once or twice years ago and always liked it. I received a Convention Swap very similar to this card and liked it all over again. Hey, it's all about the fold!!!!
Tag Topper Closure:
This card is similar to another swap I received. Check out the closure. I think this might be my favorite this month! We will be using the tag topper punch. Beware!!! Don't fold your card base in 1/2 right away!
Bow Tie Card:
Another convention swap idea. I had to include this one. Perfect for the graduate, for an invitation, or for the groom…
The pictures give you an idea of the projects. In person, they are sooo cute!
I look forward to seeing you this month.
So… guess where I'm blogging right now? Guess how all the samples were done in 24 hours? ANSWERS: I'm in CABO! The pix above are from our room. I'll post a few pix of the resort below. Kellie King was my 'stamper girl'. Kellie came over and she made all the samples while I prepared the kits. It was so much fun. Thank you Kellie! We finished the projects the morning of departure.
hey, everyone likes mango daquaris… right? Even the twins that just turned 18? Lol…. good memories!
Happy Stampin,
