Creating guy cards is challenging because we are girls! We do need guy cards though. I think it's hard to make guy cards because in order to design a good card… ya have to be 'feelin it'. Since we're girls, it's hard to be 'feelin' the stuff guys like and would appreciate on a card. So I designed a few I hope you will like.
Horse Card:
This card is impressive AND not nearly as difficult as it might look. It's perfect for the guy that is a horseman, business man or gardner/tractor dude.
Here is a close up of The Horse in the Shadow (… said with a manly cowboy deep voice…)
This is the painter's tape card. We will be using white glossy paper. Glossy paper makes the stamped and colored image so vibrant. Designing this project was saved for last… because it wasn't my favorite in this month's line up. I started with this lion. OMG! I love this lion. His head is cut out and raised up using a dimensional. Okay, so I really like this project. That oy made making the next sample easy… I didn't want to go to bed caz I wanted to keep stampin and I knew it would be awesome!
See that giraffe? That was my 2nd sample. That giraffe is now my favorite. Okay, Mr. Giraffe is a camera hog. The next sample was the zebra… he's my new fav. Um…. see the pattern here? Each new sample I make - I love that card BEST.
Now we are on to the cold freezing animals. What better way to enhance ice…??? glitter!!! : )
Mr. Giraffe it still peeking over the top…
Mr. Giraffe tried being in the pix again, but Canadian Goose didn't let it happen.
The Blue Card:
This is so simple. This was my first design. It went together very quick. I thought it might be boring BUT looking at it in the box as I work on the other projects… it is very nice. I do like it.
By the Sea Card
This project was featured in the Stampin Up demo magazine Stampin Success. I appreciated how simple and clean it is. You can make it in gray or cherry.
Good Grid
This is my favorite of this month's projects. I like the color combo and using the new Chevron Border punch.
Here is a sports version. This will be a perfect boy card.
Let me know if you can make it.
We will make 10 cards (5 designs – 2 of each design) and don't forget to stamp your envelope too. You can work at your own speed. It's great to team up with a friend or make new friends at your table and work as a team. Left Overs are available at 5p. $25 per stamper – bring your basic supplies
Happy Stampin,
* if you have a group of 3 or more, I can come to you on a date that works for your calendar
NOTE: mark your calendar for: Saturday, June 21st for New Catalog Stamp Sets
