August Projects

Have you received your Holiday Mini Catalog?  Effective August 1st, we can start ordering from it. The catalog is full of kits and great stamp sets… plus so much more!  Imagine wanting to make a project and having someone gather all the needed supplies and packaging them for you…  every kit is almost like wrapped gift.

Let me know if you have any questions about the mini catalog.  The coming months, we will be using plenty of products from this mini catalog.

Here are the projects we'll make this month. 

Man Card:

Oh MY!  I luv this card!  Every once and a while I come up with a
great man card.  (kinda proud of this one)  This stamp set is a great
basic set, By The Tide.  It can be for the fisherman or the nautical dude (or your best gf too).  I have seen so many awesome projects/layouts using this
set.  Make sure to check out my swap bag this month. 

Here fishy, fishy fishy…  Notice the embossed images on the background black layer.  You can texture or heat emboss this layer. 

Man Card:

Flower Card:

We will use the new polymer clay for this card.  Check out the flowers.  The clay is super
light weight.  SU has a few molds… we will use the flower mold.  You
can color the clay with markers; knead the reinker ink into the clay to make a solid color flower, or
you can mold your clay without color/white and color them after molding, What we
will do – is use an aqua painter and reinker to color.  I like this method best because the ink flows into the
lower parts of the molded flower and looks a darker/deeper hue than the higher lighter
parts… just like in nature.  I coated my completed flowers with crystal effects so it will look glossy. 
This step is optional. 

This project is very simple and versitile.
