Nuggetts for Emmi’s Birthday…

Emmi's birthday was late August.   I wanted to make her a nice card and do something creative since her gift was not a tangible item that could be wrapped up in pretty paper.

When it comes to designing projects in general, my plan is to gather supplies…  pile them on my desk and just look at them!  For Emmi's b-day project, I had my colors picked out… just not a design.  I have been wanting to use the MatchBox Big Shot Die with Hershey Nuggets for quite some time…  AND, her gift was a combination of 4 items…  the plan was set!

I made the box just like that!!!  (… hey, this Big Shot die is super easy!!!)  I planned on covering the chocolates in matching paper and writing a little single word on the bottom of each chocolate letting her
know what her gift was… I could imagine how exciting it would be to flip over each chocolate!  Not to mention each gift was her ultimate favorite things!!!  The box filled with chocolate somehow feels very substantial – perhaps the reinforced box.. or the heaviness of the chocolates…  I like it – lots.  HEY, SU just came out with Nugget wrapper stamp sets!!!  There is one in the Big Catty, and one in the mini catty!!!  OMG, this is going to turn out better than I imagined!  I knew I better get that set ordered
right away!  Guess what???  I already have it!!  That was one of my impulse buys right when the new Big Catty came out!  Yee Haw, I'm on a roll now.

The gift was a hit… she loved the presentation and the items.
