Sooo… did you get your new mini catalog? If you're like me, you want "one of each please" (I say that to the restaurnt dessert cart too)!!! As a demonstrator, I have the luxury of ordering from the new catalogs one month in advance! Yeah! If you had a good/real reason to order SU goodies (notice I didn't say stamp sets… the mini catalog is full of so many more fun things…) what would you do? Yep, I think I have everything!
This month's projects are more 'back to basic' type projects. (Next month will be more Jilli/vintage style.)
SU has come out with cello bags (pg 11 – 50 for $2.50… what a deal!) and they fun! In past years, Moms have wanted to make these for their kids class room exchange (Valentines Day too) events. I'm so happy SU has released this product. They are quick and really fun to make. I can imagine having my kids sit at the dining room table stuffing these narrow bags. I will do the stampin on the topper, and they can work their magic on the bags (if any candy is left!).
Before you think this project is just for Moms of little ones… think about gifting a friend in the office with one of these (just because… ), or one for everyone in your department for Halloween, or having a bucket full of them when friends come over, Valentines Day is a perfect time to share… I will have materials to make a Halloween or girly version.
Inspired by Nature – The Grass Card
Ahhh… isn't this project fun? It's super simple and cute!
When I saw this set in the big catalog, I thought it was cute. I knew I wanted to give it a try. After convention I looked thru my many swaps and found so many great ideas using this set. Mary commented on how she loves this punch technique to create a frame. What a great combo… the frame and the button buddy stamp. I know you'll love the project too.
I look forward to seeing you this month!
NOTE: There are quite a few upcoming stampin events to watch for… ShoeBox #1 and #2 (11/5 & 11/6), Stamp-a-Stack (10/29) and Tiles (11/12) (Folsom Stampers – October is swap month/kids cards). I will send out information for these events soon (ShoeBox info has been sent).
Happy Stampin,
