ShoeBox #1 AND #2 – Christmas Style!
Being the stamper that you are, do your family & friends expect hand crafted greeting cards? Would you like to complete your holiday cards in ONE day? Attending the Christmas ShoeBox will definitely give you a great start to completing all your cards timely! If you have attended this event in the past, you know how fun it is too!
Speaking of fun… but a few stampers have mentioned how exhausted they are after our event. A few stampers also mentioned it takes them a full weekend (or two) to complete the work they began during the event…
So, I have a plan! How about splitting this event into two! You can RSVP to either (or both) days – Saturday, November 5th and/or Sunday, November 6th. If you RSVP for both dates, please be prepared to design two projects – one for each day. (Many stampers will participate in both days and don't want 8 of one card.)
Here are the details of the event(s):
I will send you an eVite invitation to both days. RSVP ONLY if you are bringing a box. If you have a guest (or are sharing a box), let me know by email to set out an extra chair for the guest. (Participants will watch the eVite head count to determine how many cards to make… RSVPing a guest will throw off the count.)
Your 'to do' list:
1. Bring a side dish to share (eVite will organize). I'll provide drinks and a main dish.
2. Bring your basic supply kit (adhesive of choice, scissors, bone folder, hand stamped by stamp…)
3. Bring a box (doesn't need to be a shoe box) including all the materials to make your project. Each stamper will make 4 each from your box. You will need to watch the eVite invitation for updated numbers as the date nears (or make lots and YOU can make up your left overs after our event). If you are having a hard time coming up with your project – let me know … we can meet for coffee and get you going in the right direction.
4. OPTIONAL: photo for my blog – if you'd like to share your project in advance, send me a jpg file and I'll upload it to this post. It's fun to see all the projects in advance… gives you something to anticipate!
Saturday, November 5th AND Sunday, November 6th, 2011
9:00am-?:00pm (you can come/go anytime you'd like – but plan to leave your box until all stampers have had their chance with it.)
My house (let me know if you need directions)
HINT: Due to the quantity of cards we will be making in ONE day – gather your pieces of paper, punch/stamp all pieces, cut your ribbon, and assemble your projects at home. You can pull up the final product here (for any project pictured) for lay-out assistance.
Happy Stampin!
