Stampin with Janice

October 3, 2010

Each year SU has a Ronald McDonald stamp set.  Each set sold, SU donates $2 to Ronald McD house!

If you don't already know, there is a Ronald McD house in Sacramento.  If ever you'd like to be a volunteer, or donate time/paper
crafts/supplies/cards, let me know… I'll get you set up, or supplies/cards in the loving hands of the team at Ronald McD house.

Janice & I try to promote this set at least once during the catalog year. When I receive a new catalog, I always breeze thru the catalog and make sure to look at this year's set.  So far, they have been okay.  Since I 100% believe in the cause, I always purchase them.  This year's set is called Tag Alongs.  How do I say this phrase with a positive spin…  I don't like it…  there, not nicely said.  It's tags.  It's only tags… how does that turn into a masterpiece or a card?  Dun know…

Janice knows (and she likes the set!) and was sooo kind as to build an entire evening's projects around this set!  I was kinda smiling inside
myself when she said she'd be doing this…  I love the thought of having hope for the Ronald McD set!  … and I love the work Janice does.  SO, are you as excited as I was for the unveiling of a few projects using this set?

She came up with coordinating tag & card (BOTH!):

Baby Bottle card (both the card and tag have crystal effects)

Wedding Cake card (it's very pretty and elegantly simple):

The Cupcake card (I kinda over did it on the frosting bling):

Penguin Card (darling, huh…  I think I want a penguin as a pet!)

Penguin Tag (confirmed… I must have a penguin!)

Janice gave me the set a few months prior to our gathering…  I had to admit to her I 'wasn't feeling' the set.  So, yep, I've changed my opinion of this set!  It is cute!

Happy Stampin!
