Girlfriend’s Weekend is almost here…
Each year a group of us stamper get together and take a trip to Momma's in Oregon. We wait all year for October to come around and IT'S almost HERE (said with a squeal of delight)!!!
Imagine this: stampin from sun up to sun down surrounded by wonderful friends and staying in jammies allll day (okay, pearls and jewels are
allowed!). Okay, the food is always incredible… we are spoiled the entire time.
We each will prepare a shoebox project to share. Here's my project:
I'll be using the new set French Foliage and the 'trinkets' from the accessory section (at first I didn't know why somebody would purchase
safety pins… but they coordinate with little button brads… so cute and perfect). I'm also using the vanilla seam binding. This is supposed to be used for SU's new fabric line (oh, we'll make a card next month using the designer fabric) for seams… not sure about that sewing stuff, BUT, I love this stuff for ribbon! It's so soft and easy to work with. I kinda feel like I'm cheating when I use it because I'm using it for a different purpose… but get over that quick. Oh, the saffron paper… notice that stamp? It's called TeaHouse. It's a big background stamp. I LOVE it! You'll probably be seeing that stamp very soon in our monthly gathering!
I will post photos of everyone's shoebox project upon my return to Sacto!
Happy Stampin!
