Don't you LOVE the new catalog?  WOW, so many wonderful sets and accessories!  This month, ALL the projects use the new set Friends Never Fade. As I gathered materials for all the projects, I noticed a bit of a change in the stuff all over my desk…  the new colors ARE very nice!  I hope you enjoy this month's projects!

Shimmery Paint & the new Presto Pattern DSP make an awesome combo.  We'll be using both for this project.  They both glow in person!  The girly rose version uses the flower from the same set.  The top layer of the flower is stamped full ink, the lower layer is "rock'n'rolled" to get a lighter version.  This is a fun technique.  See the little pearl?  SU now has individual pearls (and diamonds).  (I guess SU really does read all my requests!)

Friends Never Fade- I love this card layout!  Once I saw this set, I knew this stamp would be perfect for this card.

Pocket Card – This DSP is great!  The project is all about the designer papers!  Okay, the little 1/8" new ribbon is a perfect fit too.  This project is very simple and impressive.  If you have a great package of DSP, you could go crazy making these.  After the project were complete, I noticed this project didn't have any set/ink listed.  Whoops!  Kinda forgot to stamp!  Okay, so I added a watermark flower to the inside.  Ahh, much better!
